Creators’ available earnings are paid out from Payouts. Each payout moves through Requested, Approved and Paid.

How a payout is created

Depending on the program’s payout schedule, a payout is created either:
  • On request, when a creator requests one from their portal, or
  • Automatically, when the schedule runs for every creator whose available balance meets the payout minimum. Choose Run payout schedule now to run it early.

Approve and send

1

Review

Open Payouts and filter to Requested. Each payout shows the creator, amount and what it covers.
2

Approve

Choose Approve, or Reject with a reason. A badge on Payouts in the sidebar counts payouts waiting for you.
3

Send

Choose Send payout. Rally charges your payment method for the amount plus your plan’s payout fee, then pays the creator.

How creators are paid

  • Stripe: creators set up a Stripe account from their portal. Stripe verifies their identity, collects their bank details and tax information, and converts currency, so creators in many countries are paid in their own currency.
  • Recorded payments: if you pay a creator outside Rally, for example by Wise, PayPal or bank transfer, choose Record external payment and enter the reference. Rally marks the payout paid without moving money.

Fees and limits

Every payout sent through Rally carries your plan’s payout fee, and each plan includes a monthly payout volume. See Plans and billing.

Who can do what

Approving a payout and sending it are separate permissions, so you can have one person approve and finance send. See Team roles.
